For the third year the On My Own, Inc. Board of Directors approved the allocation of over $37,000 to area Senior Centers to help fund their home delivered meals programs in 2009.

OMO Advocate Susan Maples and CDS ILS Cheryl Kauffman presented a check for $5000 to the St Clair County Senior Center, accepting are volunteers Chris McCune and Mae Ganfield.

Susan Maples OMO Advocate and Billie Jo Baker CDS ILS presnted a check to Korth Senior center Board Member Duke Smith and Center Coordinator Carol Coffman in Stockton.

Data Coordinator Chris McCarty, OMO Executive Director Jennifer Gundy, OMO Advocate Susan Maples and CDS Director Sara Nunez present a check to Sylvia Ackley Vernon County Senior Center Director and her husband Earl Ackley Care Connections and Disaster Response Director.

At the Bates County Senior Center President Leonard Redding, Center Coordinator Beth Hollon, Head Cook Rita Lowe, and Care Connection Case Manager Irene Holt were presented with a check for $5000 by OMO Advocate Susan Maples and CDS ILS John Brock.

A check for $2500 was presented to Sharon Beisley and Sharon Sadler Meals on Wheels Volunteers by CDS ILS Deborah McDannald, SIL ILS's Brian Davis and Linda Longstreth and CDS Director Sara Nunez.

CDS ILS John Brock and OMO Advocate Susan Maples presented a check for $5000 to the Senior Center at Rich Hill accepting the check are Kern Center Volunteer Coordinator Phyllis Brasfield, and volunteer Frances McDaniel.
